Choose Between our Sustainable MDF Wood or our Durable Perspex
MDF Wood for Indoor Use
Our Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) wood is sourced from an Australian Manufacturer. This material is widely used today and can be found in furniture, cabinets, workshops, houses, etc.
MDF is made up of unusable wood offcuts and wood chips that are ground down into a pulp and pressed into a solid sheet; making it a reliable and sustainable material for our artwork.
It is important to note that MDF wood is not suitable for use in areas that can get wet or rained on as it can swell and break down over time.
Perspex for Indoor and Outdoor Use
Acrylic (or Perspex) is a highly versatile and widely utilized material across a range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, and art. As a form of plastic, it is widely recognized for its remarkable strength, durability, and exceptional optical clarity.
If you're looking for an excellent material to create your artwork, we can use a 3mm Matte or Gloss Black sheet made of acrylic which is both lightweight and durable, making it perfect for use in high moisture areas or outdoor applications.
Moreover, acrylic offers a cost-effective option that outshines most metals as it is considerably lighter and won't rust. This material is also resistant to weathering and UV radiation, making it a reliable choice for outdoor displays and signage, in addition to furniture, lighting fixtures, and indoor artwork.
We offer our artwork in up to 4 different sizes so that you can fit them in an array of different spaces from grand entryways, Hallways and Bedrooms to small odd shaped walls between windows and doors.
Some of our more detailed designs may not be available in smaller sizes due to design limitations. Please get in contact if you need a custom size! (bigger or smaller)
Our artwork can be easily hung using a variety of hanging methods.Â
We supply nails FREE for hanging that have a flat head and grip into interior plaster walls easily. Strategically placing one or more nails between the gaps of the artwork will ensure your design is held safely and flat against the wall (we think they look best when hung flush).
Because these are nice and light, they will also hang easily on a regular picture hook and can also be fixed using double sided mounting tape.
We do not currently supply hanging materials for outdoor applications as there are many different ways to hang these depending on the kind of material your wall is made out of. We suggest you fix these to the wall so that they sit flush which will reduce the chance of them falling off due to windy/stormy conditions.

MDF Wood:
Each item is hand painted using Dulux Weathershield paints which have a very high durability. We guarantee that our paint will never Peel, Flake or Fade (if painted) and will last as long as the wood its painted on.
We make every effort to ensure our designs are strong and easy to handle. MDF wood is surprisingly strong, and unlike plywood which can break easily along the wood grain, MDF is consistent, durable and light.
Although we manufacture some of the most intricate laser cut wall art in the southern hemisphere, we do our best to ensure our products are sized correctly so that they are not easily broken.
Acrylic:
Our commercial grade acrylic/perspex is UV resistant and is perfect for use in wet areas, unlike MDF wood.
Although this is still a new material for us here, our past clients have successfully hung their artwork without issues in/on sheds, pool areas and on the exterior of their homes without issues. We also offer a 2 year warranty on all of our products when it comes to durability.
Please note that although Acrylic is a strong material, some of our designs can be quite intricate so please handle with care before/during installation.
