Who are we?
In 2019, we, Laura and Sam, embarked on an extraordinary journey, creating laser-cut artwork from the comfort of our home. What began as a simple, passionate endeavour evolved into something much greater. We initially catered to our local community through word of mouth, and the overwhelming demand and heartwarming feedback encouraged us to take our craft more seriously.
As a result, ‘SJBLaser’ was born. To meet the growing demand and maintain exceptional quality, we invested in better equipment, and we also moved out of our garage and into a dedicated commercial workshop, enabling us to expand our artistic horizons.
During this transformative phase, we decided to rebrand ourselves as ‘Laser Art Australia’, reflecting our broader vision and transforming into who we are now – your trusted source for laser artistry, creating pieces that inspire and enchant.
These last few years have thrown us some curveballs, that’s for sure. We’ve grappled with shortages of materials and packaging, crazy price hikes, and even had to deal with shady copycat businesses trying to impersonate us online. Not to mention some serious and ongoing health hiccups along the way.
But you know what? We’ve hung in there, determined as ever. Despite the rising costs of running our business and the fact that people have had less cash to spend, we’re proud we didn’t give up. Our mission, to affordably turn houses into homes, that’s still the core of what we’re about. Your ongoing support means the world to us, and we’re more grateful than words can express.
